What's Coming for 2012?

We will be updating our systems and telephones during April 2012. We don't anticipate any problems with our site or our email, but you may receive a busy signal on our phones while work is in progress. While most of the updates will occur on weekends, it is possible that some interruptions may occur during the week. As always, existing customers may call our Service Line at any time 24/7, which will be unaffected.

ProSkim will offer an enhanced System for duckweed with greater throughput and lower maintenance. We invite qualified water quality industry professionals to contact us to learn more!

What's new for ProSkim in 2011?

ProSkim is celebrating our 10th Anniversary!

We now offer your choice of watermeal or duckweed filters. Duckweed filters won't remove watermeal, but provide a faster flow with less need to clean. Specify one or both at purchase - and if your needs change you can purchase an additional filter at nominal cost.

Here are some of the recent enhancements that we have made to the ProSkimmer System for 2011:

Increased skimming efficiency
Greater capacity to handle foreign objects ingested into the system
Refined filter design
Heavier gauge (yet still lightweight) frame components
Upgraded in-the-field ergonomics
All components now utilize corrosion-resistant stainless steel
Enhanced design and construction for even greater durability in rough conditions
Updated, sleeker styling

ProSkim now offers a 220 volt model for the United States and worldwide markets. This new model allows you to run the ProSkimmer System from an existing 220 volt line, with corresponding improvements in torque for heavy weed infestations.
The ProSkimmer System is now available for export to most markets throughout the world. We are currently stocking units in 230 volt in both 50Hz and 60Hz configurations.
ProSkim has introduced an optional radically improved impeller design which can pre-chop large debris entering the System, including driftwood, paper cups, and even lightweight aluminum soda cans.

ProServicer™ Program

ProSkim is now offering the ProServicer Program to provide contractual or one-time watercourse clearing services to homeowners, golf courses, corporate headquarters, apartment complexes, and other customers. All of our Distributors are authorized to provide this service - rates are set by the individual Distributors, and vary with time required. Call one of them, or call us, and we will help you find help. Already working with a pond professional or licensed aquatic herbicide applicator? Have them call us, and we will work with them to provide a System on a short term basis.
