Duckweed Case Study: The ProSkim System removes Duckweed

This series of photos shows a detailed progression of the removal of duckweed over the course of fourteen days. This pond was completely covered with Duckweed when the System was first installed. These photos show the progression of the fourteen day skimming process and final results in the last photos. This is a very typical situation - weeds are removed in large quantities. As their thickness and density decline, weeds may either be dispersed into small clumps over the pond or pushed to one side, depending upon the prevailing wind. Skimming rates can be affected by wind, thunderstorms, currents and other natural phenomena. All videos are unretouched and presented in real time.
